THE TOUR

We are riding to Stillwater! This event will include the ride to and from Stillwater, a trip across the original bridge to Wisconsin and back across the new high bridge to Stillwater PLUS lunch on your own - expect to spend four to five hours.

We will have time to stop and enjoy the Stillwater ambience before we return. AND the path is a gentle and completely paved trail with occasional traffic crossings.

This tour will start and end at the Gateway State Trail Parking in Pine Springs. The lot is on 55th Street, east of Hadley (SW corner of Hwy 36 and I-694). See map insert.

We will travel on the Gateway State Trail and the Browns Creek State Trail into Stillwater. There we will traverse the new St. Croix Crossing/Soo Line High Bridge (great picture taking!!!) into Wisconsin, travel through the prairie and return via the original High Bridge and back into Stillwater. Note: If you have a fear of heights, there are many nice park areas in which to relax.

Opportunities for drink and food abound! After a relaxing lunch, we will return to the trailhead.
