Twin Cities Ebikes (TCE) is a group of ebike owners who love riding together, exploring trails, meeting new people, and sharing our experiences. Whether you’re a seasoned e-bike rider or just looking to connect with others who share your passion, you’re welcome to join us!
We offer custom group tours for friends, coworkers, and other groups looking to enjoy a fun, active outing together.
Ride with us and discover new trails, new places, and new friendships!
We plan and lead; you enjoy!
We’ll work with you to learn more about your group size, preferred location, and desired activities. Then we will help plan a ride that fits your interests.
Every ride has a TCE designated leader and additional helpers as needed. Our leaders and helpers wear bright vests and T-shirts so they’re easy to identify.

What to Expect on Our Rides
We want everyone to enjoy the ride while feeling comfortable and prepared.
Trail Routes and Safety
Whenever possible, our routes use designated bike trails separated from vehicle traffic.
Some rides may include street crossings, designated bike lanes, or short sections on marked sidewalks or streets. Our leaders wear fluorescent safety vests and help manage traffic at crossings when needed.
Every rider should ride responsibly and be aware of their surroundings.
Choose Your Challenge
Each ride is rated Easy, Moderate, or Challenging to help you decide which route is right for you.
Easy
These rides primarily use bike trails separated from traffic. Exceptions may include street crossings, short sections of marked sidewalks, or designated on-street bike lanes.
Moderate
These rides also primarily use bike trails but may include more frequent traffic crossings, sections of designated bike lanes alongside traffic, or trails with challenging turns or surfaces.
Challenging
These rides may include more sections outside dedicated bike trails, along with more difficult trail conditions, sharp turns, or varying surfaces. Riders should have experience and feel comfortable navigating obstacles.
Distance and Speed
Most rides cover approximately 25–50 miles round trip. Riders should be comfortable traveling at speeds of at least 11 mph.
Please review the individual ride description to determine whether the distance, speed, and difficulty are a good fit for you.
Timing and Breaks
Ride duration varies depending on route conditions, group ability, and overall distance.
Our leaders stay in contact with the group and monitor riders throughout the ride to help maintain a safe and comfortable pace. Stops are included to give riders opportunities to refresh, take a break, and walk periodically as needed.
We do our best to depart on time. If you anticipate a delay, please call your designated ride leader. Details will be provided in your tour packet.
Ride with GPS Maps
Every ride has a corresponding Ride with GPS route map, and the maps are free to download.
You’ll find the map link for your tour in your packet. Many maps also include directional cues with helpful route information and turn-by-turn guidance.
Before every ride:
- Review the full ride description in your packet.
- Confirm the ride’s starting location and be sure your riders know where to start.
- If desired, download the Ride with GPS map and review any directional cues.
- Check the ride’s distance and difficulty level.
- Arrive prepared for a great day on your ebike!
