TOUR START: This tour will start and end at Minnehaha Falls in the north parking area for the Wabun Picnic Area, 4655 46th Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55406 (east side of Minnehaha Falls park). Look for our bright BLUE shirts!
THE TOUR
This ride is fully on paved bike trails with occasional road crossings. With the river on one side and beautiful homes on the other, this ride is relaxing and enjoyable.
We will travel north on the west side of the river to Franklin Avenue (the Minneapolis side). We will extend just past Franklin Avenue to visit Bohemia Flats (and rest rooms).
We will cross to the east side on the Franklin Avenue bridge.
We will then travel south on the east side of the river (the St Paul side). We will travel through the Mac Groveland residential area with St Thomas on our left. We will also visit the old Ford Plant area, now the Highland Bridge Development.
Then we will return to Ford Parkway to cross back over to the Wabun Picnic Area.
