TOUR START: This tour starts and ends at the Spring Lake Park Reserve near Hastings. Parking at the trailhead at 13690 Pine Bend Trail, Rosemount, MN 55068, USA.

Your leader will be Karen Waldron.

THE TOUR The Spring Lake Park Reserve has a bison herd of nine animals. American plains bison were reintroduced to a 150-acre fenced-in prairie at Dakota County's Spring Lake Park Reserve.

Bison can be best viewed from the Mississippi River Greenway. The reintroduction of bison is an important element to continued prairie restoration. Hopefully this year we will see the buffalo herd!

Scenery through this area is spectacular. The route is made for an Ebike and has up and downs as you go along the Mississippi river and then go up along the Bluffs

This ride is clearly marked and generally smooth. It is a relaxing ride with options for riders with varying interests and capabilities.

For lunch: Welcome to Hastings! Just a short trip out of the metro area but totally a small town feel. We will find lunch in Hastings and relax on the deck at the American Legion, if there is room!

You can find the Ride with GPS map here.
